a monthly series for Church Treasurers
4th Wednesday of each month, 7:00 - 8:30 pm ET
Join us every month for keep up to date on the latest news and advice for treasurers, trustees, payroll contacts and more.
The “business of church” is complicated. Whether you’re wondering about the latest government programs to help us get out of the pandemic, or looking for advice on leasing space, maintaining a big property, or the best practices around managing a cemetery, there will be something for you here. This group began in the pandemic as a place for Treasurers to hear from our denomination’s Chief Financial Officer. It has proven so popular that we’re expanding the scope of programming and the variety of presenters.
Spring 2023 Schedule:
- There will be no live meeting on Ash Wednesday, February 21. Instead we’re planning a pre-recorded program on getting or regaining charitable status, and processing organization changes like closures and amalgamations. The program will be available on the Program Page for this course here at CHURCHx.
- March – May 2023 we’ll meet monthly on the 4th Wednesday of each month, as usual
Plans for Fall 2023 are still developing, but we’re currently expecting programming will be expanded to address new areas of the “business of church”, to augment the information that Eric and Clyde have been presenting. Check back for details later in the year.
