Placing Ourselves in Colonialism
A 4-session workshop for settlers and newcomers to explore our histories and stories. Where do we connect with the forces of colonization? What are our responsibilities to the places where we have “settled” and the people whose lives that has impacted? Where does this lead us in our discipleship?
This series, which includes a panel discussion, a book study, and your own research (we’ll help!) and sharing, is inspired by the work of Elaine Enns and Ched Myers (authors of Healing Haunted Histories: A Settler Discipleship of Decolonization). It will also feature Chinook Winds Indigenous Minister Rev. Tony Snow, United Church of Canada Anti-Racism and Equity Lead Adele Halliday, and United Church of Canada Reconciliation and Indigenous Justice Animator Sara Stratton.
While there is one registration form for the the full series, you may choose to attend only some of the individual sessions."

Webinars for Church Treasurers
4th Wednesday of each month, 7:00 - 8:30 pm ET
These programs have proven so popular that we've invited Eric and Clyde back monthly, to keep us up to date on the latest news and advice for treasurers. Each session will provide information that's current as of the day of delivery -- since the government programs continue to change as we move through the pandemic, be sure you stay up to date on the things that could make a difference to your church and ministry.
Offering this program through CHURCHx provides some new options for those who've participated in the past. This year we have links to important documents, powerpoints and recordings all collected together in one handy space, and a discussion forum where you can post your questions and comments between sessions.
