The GO Project

The GO Project is a United Church of Canada ministry that designs programs for children, youth and leaders which support spiritual development, community building and opportunities to put faith and love into action.

Born in 2007 out of a youth groups desire to go on a mission trip, The GO Project began to offer local youth mission programs across the country, contrasting the idea that young people need to go to other countries in order to volunteer and learn about justice. Since 2007, The GO Project has grown and changed its program offering based on needs and desires of communities of faith - all while maintaining their mission to offer education, training, and programs for young people to learn how to put their faith into action through social justice and community engagement.

GO’s resources on CHURCHx aim to support leaders in their ministry to children, youth, and young adults through curriculum, lesson plans, training, tips, community discussion, and more.

Church School Curriculum

The GO Project’s Church School Curriculum is designed to take the stress off leaders so they can focus on relationship building with their young people. Each individual lesson includes multiple weeks of content based on one Scripture or theological theme. Build your own lesson with our suggested stories, crafts, games, activities, songs, videos and more. Made for elementary aged children, with bonus content for youth groups.

In addition to your curriculum, receive regular tips & tricks and access to a national network of children & youth ministry leaders. All curriculum is designed with theology and beliefs on justice, openness, diversity, and love.
