So, you want to build a course in CHURCHx! We’re thrilled and we hope you are too. However, not everyone is thrilled by technology and the prospect of teaching through an online platform may be a bit overwhelming.

This course will walk you through all aspects of developing a course for the online world using CHURCHx. And, it is always available as a reference any time you need help.

By taking this course, you will learn to choose the appropriate delivery model for your course and build your content around it by breaking up your learning material and content into segments that are appropriate for both your students and the online experience. You will learn how to record videos for your course based on your learning material, choose a video hosting platform to set it up with your branding, and edit your video lectures to create stylish and consistent content without spending a lot of money.

The course will also show you how to develop your content with the appropriate level of technology and accessibility and use online resources safely and protect copyrighted material from misuse. Since CHURCHx is build using Moodle LMS, this course will show you how to navigate and edit a course in any Moodle LMS, add your course content into CHURCHx and know when and how to add appropriate social interaction within your course.

The best online learning experiences are shaped by online games so we’ll show you how to create the secret sauce for your course by gamifying your course using rewards for completing activities and building tools into your course that your students can use to learn collaboratively.

Finally, we’ll show you how to create a feedback loop that helps you continually improve your course.
